You can make videos too, you know.

When I first got into the photo business, it was different. We used film cameras for everything...and we were happy. Now, it's different. Professional photography and videography go hand-in-hand. The images you would hire a photographer to make 20 years ago is what you need a professional video for today.

If you're reading this, a few things are probably true: you have a business, you have a cell phone, and you have an interest in marketing your business. The best, most effective way to do that is through video production. I wish I could say only professionally made videos are effective for marketing, but that is not the case. The fact is, you have the power in your hands to start a conversation with your customers and if you haven't done so already, start today.

You can make and edit a video with your smartphone. You can even post it to your website or social media channels. You can "go live" and draw immediate and direct attention to whatever you're doing. The truth is, your customers/audience is getting hosed down with images all the time. If you want their attention, make a video.

Now, why am I telling you to do something that I make my living doing? I must be losing my mind. Rest assured, I'm not. I heard a nun say "God blesses effort" and I believe her. If you make something with intention an an honest desire to be helpful, it will have an impact. If your marketing budget doesn't allow you to hire us, figure out a way to tell it yourself until that reality changes.

We are in the business of connecting businesses and organizations with their audience and customer base. We help businesses make money with the videos we produce. We help community organizations tell their story and grow their support base with concise, well produced, visual content. We do a better job of creating that when you have a working sense of what you want your videos to say and achieve. We become trusted collaborators.

So, instead of watching your competition's crappy videos made with a their kid's cell phone, make one yourself. If you don't like it, make another. Keep doing it until the ideas in your head and your abilities don't match. When that happens, call us. We can help.
